Each year, outstanding PhD candidates are chosen as Harvard Horizons Scholars and receive targeted mentoring and coaching designed to enhance their presentation skills. The program will culminate in the Harvard Horizons Symposium on May 6, 2015, where Horizons Scholars will deliver brief, compelling talks about their research from the Sanders Theatre stage (free tickets available from the Harvard Box Office beginning April 22).
Horizons Scholars receive:
- In-depth, personalized mentoring and coaching;
- The opportunity to build community with peers across fields in GSAS;
- The chance to hone research ideas in ways that can powerfully assist dissertation work;
- A high-quality video of the Harvard Horizons Symposium to further a job search and other professional goals.
