Department Administered Fellowships
History Department Travel and Research Grants
These grants are open only to students in the History Department, and are generally used for short-term research projects during the summer or during the academic year.
To apply for the Artemas Ward Fellowship, Clive Fellowship, or Department Travel and Research Grants, please complete the application by logging in to CARAT. A complete application includes:
- completed common application form
- letter of reference from the student’s advisor
- statement of purpose which provides a detailed description of the research project
- budget
- travel itinerary
