Each year, outstanding PhD candidates are chosen as Harvard Horizons Scholars and receive targeted [mentoring and coaching](https://www.gsas.harvard.edu/harvard_horizons/mentoring.php) designed to enhance their presentation skills. The program will culminate in the **Harvard Horizons Symposium on May 6, 2015**, where Horizons Scholars will deliver brief, compelling talks about their research from the Sanders Theatre stage (free tickets available from the Harvard Box Office beginning April 22).

Horizons Scholars receive:

- In-depth, personalized mentoring and coaching;
- The opportunity to build community with peers across fields in GSAS;
- The chance to hone research ideas in ways that can powerfully assist dissertation work;
- A high-quality video of the Harvard Horizons Symposium to further a job search and other professional goals.
