CES: A Public Address by Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania

Date:

Thursday, October 16, 2014, 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Location:

JFK Jr. Forum, Harvard Kennedy School

Edi Rama has many faces: an artist, a writer, a sportsman, a politician. During his 11 years as the Mayor of Tirana, Albania’s capital, Edi Rama uplifted Tirana’s post-communist spirit by turning its grey facades into colorful art and fought bribes in the public sector by redesigning the interior of civil servants’ offices. Now the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama promises an economic, political and cultural renaissance in his country.

This event is co-sponsored by the Center for European Studies and the Center for International Development.
