Roundtable discussion with Carmelo Mesa Lago, Roberto Veiga, and Lenier González

**Carmelo Mesa-Lago** is Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Economics and Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh and a visiting professor. He is a former president of the Latin American Studies Association and a member of the editorial boards of six academic journals. He was awarded the *International Labor Organization Prize on Decent Work* shared with Nelson Mandela.

**Roberto Veiga and **Lenier González** are the founders of Cuba Posible, an online magazine and research organization that aims to spark dialogue among diﬀerent factions in Cuba and promote a future of peace and cooperation. González and Veiga were previously the editors of *Espacio Laical*, the Cuban Catholic magazine.

 **This presentation will be partially conducted in Spanish.**
