Peter Andreas, John Hay Professor of International Studies, Brown University
Peter Andreas will discuss his new book, a political memoir described by the New York Times as "thoroughly engrossing," about his childhood on the run in South America with his Mennonite-turned-Marxist mother.
Peter Andreas is the John Hay Professor of International Studies at Brown University, where he holds a joint appointment between the department of political science and the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Andreas has published ten books, and has also written for a wide range of publications, such as Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, The Nation, Slate, Harpers, Washington Post, and the New York Times.
