Harvard Divinity School Film Series: The Great Hack

Monday Matinees, "The Politics of the Unseen: Exploring the Moral Imagination," presents The Great Hacka 2019 documentary film about the Facebook–Cambridge analytica data scandal, produced and directed by Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer.

Following the film, Geralyn Dreyfous, executive producer, and Carole Cadwalladr, journalist from The Guardian, and Ravi Naik, Human and Data Rights Barrister, will discuss the film. Dialogue with the audience will be encouraged. This is the first of a special film series that focuses on issues of social and racial justice; ethics of data collection and its impact on free elections; moral leadership; gun violence; and dreams of farming and caring for the land. Discussions will center around what role the moral imagination plays in addressing societal concerns, how each film contributes to our understanding of social change, and how we as community might engage more fully in movement building rooted in creativity and compassion.This event is free and open to the public.  To register for the film series, please contact Gretchen Legler.
