HHI: Hurricane Relief Concert

The Harvard Humanitarian Initiative is organizing a benefit concert on Sunday, November 12 to raise funds for organizations providing humanitarian relief for communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma & Maria. The concert is co-sponsored by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, and the Texas Club of Harvard College.

The concert, held at Club Oberon in Harvard Square, Cambridge, will feature covers of classic rock songs played by the Big 6, a Harvard supergroup formed by Emergency Physicians from Brigham and Women's Hospital and staff from the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative!

The Big 6 is comprised of Michael VanRooyen, Director of HHI and Chair of Emergency Medicine at BWH; Tim Erickson and Valerie Dobiesz, Faculty at HHI, BWH, & HMS; and Sam Plasmati, Isaac Baker, and Katie Farineau of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.

All proceeds will benefit communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma & Maria. The band will make a matching donation of all ticket sales, and a special donor will make another matching donation of the total.

Doors will open at 6:30pm, and the band will take the stage at 7:30pm.
