Yavuz Aykan, Associate Professor of Early Modern History, Paris 1 Sorbonne University, School of History

 

Yavuz Aykan is an Associate Professor of early modern history at Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne University’s School of History. Before joining Sorbonne’s School of History, he taught history and paleography classes at Boğaziçi and Koç Universities in Istanbul, Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations in Paris. He was a residential fellow at the Centre for ‘Work and Human Lifecycle in Global History’ at Humboldt University in Berlin, the Käte Hamburger Centre for Advanced Study in the Humanities ‘Law as Culture’ in Bonn and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Nantes, France.
