**Tiya Miles**  
Mary Henrietta Graham Distinguished University Professor, University of Michigan; Author of  
Tales from the Haunted South: Dark Tourism and Memories of Slavery from the Civil War Era  
(2015); Founder of ECO Girls, an environmental and cultural project for girls in urban Southeast Michigan
