Harvard visiting faculty Bain Attwood (Monash University, Australia), Nicholas Bradley (University of Victoria, Canada), and Philip Deloria (University of Michigan, United States) will provide perspectives on global issues in the study of Indigeneity, a vibrant and growing discipline that is used to study Indigenous communities around the globe. Each scholar will share perspectives on a seminal text used in their work and provide insight into how it engages with Indigenous Studies, both locally and globally. Join us for a panel discussion on the intersection of Indigenous cultures, comparative studies, colonialism, literature and history moderated by Maggie McKinley, Climenko Fellow, Harvard Law School.
A reception will follow the panel and be hosted in the Peabody Museum.
