Thursday, April 26, 2018, 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Location:

Memorial Church porch (Harvard Yard

In case of rain: we will meet at Boylston Hall, 4th floor.

This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the death of Maria Mercè Marçal, and recognize three other major writers of literary classics who died on or around April 23, Saint George's Day: William Shakespeare (1564-1616), Miguel de Cervantes (1547-1616) and Josep Pla (1897-1981).

Following the Catalan tradition, RLL Department invites you to bring a book you would like someone else to discover in order to exchange it.

You can also read a passage from an author you enjoy in the original language and its translation into English.

Followed by a reception with refreshments.

Sponsored by the Institut Ramon Llull; Department of Romance Languages and Literatures.
