Center for South Asian and Indian Ocean Studies at Tufts University

Sugata Bose, Gardiner Professor of Oceanic History and Affairs, Harvard University; Member of the 16th Lok Sabha  
 and Thomas Robert Travers, Associate Professor, Cornell University will speak on Christopher Bayly as scholar and teacher. Professor Ayesha Jalal, Mary Richardson Professor of History at Tufts University, will chair the panel. The event will also include video messages from Professor Seema Alavi and Dr Thant Myint U.
