DESCRIPTION:<p>	lizaveta Fouksman received her doctorate in International Development from the University of Oxford in 2015, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. For the 2017-18 academic year, Liz is a Berggruen Fellow at Harvard University’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics. She will present <em>Universalizing social protection and the moral imperative of labor: Support and resistance from Southern Africa.</em></p><p>	A week in advance, the presenter’s paper will be circulated through the <a href="https://lists.fas.harvard.edu/mailman/listinfo/africanstudiesworkshop-list">Harvard African Studies Workshop listserv</a>.
