DESCRIPTION:<p>	<span><span style="color:black">On <u>Tuesday, October 15<sup>th</sup></u>, <strong>Dr. Alissa Mittnik</strong>, Department of Genetics (Reich Lab) at Harvard Medical School, will speak on her remarkable research: <strong>“Marriage, mobility and households in Bronze Age Germany: integrating ancient DNA, isotopes and archaeology. ”</strong> Showing the power of traditional archaeological and newer archaeoscientific methods to illuminate life in Bronze Age Germany, the talk takes place at 5:30 pm at CGIS South: S020 Belfer Case Study Room (1730 Cambridge Street, poster attached). Professor Matthew Liebmann (Archaeology/Anthropology) will comment; a public reception will follow. The event is co-sponsored by the <a href="https://sohp.fas.harvard.edu/">Initiative for the Science of the Human Past at Harvard</a> (SoHP), the <a href="https://archaeology.harvard.edu/">Standing Committee on Archaeology</a> at Harvard (SCA), and the <a href="https://www.archaeoscience.org/">Max Planck-Harvard Research Center for the Archaeoscience of the Ancient Mediterranean</a> (MHAAM).</span></span></p>
