DESCRIPTION:<p>	In this closing roundtable, Professors <a href="https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/globalpoliticalthought/people/shruti-kapila" title="">Shruti Kapila</a> (University of Cambridge) and <a href="https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/globalpoliticalthought/people/david-armitage" title="">David Armitage</a> (Harvard University) return with Professor <a href="https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/globalpoliticalthought/people/joshua-simon" title="">Joshua Simon</a> (Johns Hopkins University) to explore what the "global" is, could be, and perhaps should be, in the theory and practice of global political thought.</p><p>	Joshua Simon shares perspectives of his pioneering research on Latin American political theory; Shruti Kapila discusses the past and present of South Asian political thought; David Armitage surveys the landscape and seascape of international thought in the age of global transformations.</p><p>	This event is generously co-sponsored by the <a href="https://drclas.harvard.edu/" title="">David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies</a> and the <a href="https://asiacenter.harvard.edu/" title="">Harvard University Asia Center</a>.
