Andrew Port will speak on his upcoming book Never Again: Germans and Genocide after the Holocaust (Harvard University Press, May 2023). While Germans have avowed that their Nazi past may never happen again, Port examines how this history has shaped Germany's response to genocides in other countries after 1945. Port also assesses the impact of these genocides on Germany's understanding of its own history.
