Her biography of Benjamin Franklin’s sister, <em style="line-height: 1.8em;">Book of Ages: The Life and Opinions of Jane Franklin</em>, was a finalist for the 2013 National Book Award for Nonfiction. Her latest book, <em style="line-height: 1.8em;">The Secret History of Wonder Woman</em>, will be published in October. </p><p>Wonder Woman is the most popular female comic-book superhero of all time. Aside from Superman and Batman, no other comic-book character has lasted as long. Like every other superhero, Wonder Woman has a secret identity. Unlike every other superhero, she also has a secret history.
