Geared toward educators but open to all, this online session will feature remarks from the novel's author Anthony Marra, as well as Nieman Fellow Irina Gordienko, a veteran Russian journalist who has reported extensively from the book's setting of wartime Chechnya.</p><p>This discussion is the first session in the Global Literature Online Book Group for Educators series, a program of <a href="http://globalstudiesoutreach.harvard.edu" target="_blank">Global Studies Outreach at Harvard</a>.
