DESCRIPTION:<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">Roundtable discussion with Carmelo Mesa Lago, Roberto Veiga, and Lenier González</p><p><strong>Carmelo Mesa-Lago </strong>is Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Economics and Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh and a visiting professor. He is a former president of the Latin American Studies Association and a member of the editorial boards of six academic journals. He was awarded the <em>International</em><em> Labor Organization Prize on Decent Work </em>shared with Nelson Mandela.</p><p><strong>Roberto</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Veig</strong><strong>a</strong><strong> </strong>and <strong>Lenier González </strong>are the founders of Cuba Posible, an online magazine and research organization that aims to spark dialogue among diﬀerent factions in Cuba and promote a future of peace and cooperation.
