Hilsdale (McGill University) will present “Worldliness in Byzantium and Beyond: Manuscript Materiality and Byzantine Materialism.” Professor Hilsdale will consider the complicated history of the tale of Barlaam and Ioasaph.<br> <br> The lecture is co-sponsored by Harvard University Standing Committee on Medieval Studies.</p><p></p><p>The lecture is free and open to the public.
