Although he is best known today for the design of his own house, Monticello, Jefferson was very important as a champion for and scholar of neoclassical design. His plans for the Virginia State Capital and the University of Virginia helped define how Americans thought of public spaces for the following century. Henry Adams will explore the impact of Jefferson in American architecture and the legacy he has left on our country's built environment. </p>
