From such studies, he hopes to learn how diatoms were affected by past environments, thus helping to understand how they will be affected by climate change in the future.</p><p>Free and open to the public.</p><p>A larger, one-day public <a href="https://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/event/2016-oceans-symposium">symposium</a> on the topic of oceans took place on Friday, October 28, 2016.</p><p> </p>
