Camden Elliott

History Prize Instructor

Camden Elliott is a PhD student in History at Harvard studying environmental history. His research focuses on the intersection of warfare and the environment, often through the lens of diseases affecting humans and non-human animals alike. While his geographical interests span across vast early America, he is particularly interested in the American South and the northeastern borderlands.

Camden comes to Harvard from Georgetown University, where he first encountered environmental history. He received a Bachelor's degree in international history from the School of Foreign Service in May 2018, and entered the PhD program at Harvard in the fall of that year.
