Daniel Chardell

Daniel Chardell studies twentieth-century international history, with a particular focus on the Cold War in the Third World. After receiving his BA with high honors in history from the University of Michigan, he spent three years as a research associate at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, DC. His research interests include U.S. and Soviet intervention in the Middle East and Latin America, the dissemination of revolutionary ideologies across regions, and the history of counterterrorism and counterinsurgency.
