She completed her PhD in Latin Literature at the University of Innsbruck in 2023. Irina works on Neo-Latin and New Ancient Greek Literature, with a particular focus on Neo-Latin scientific poetry between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. This interest continues from her doctoral research on the reception of Copernicus and the Copernican system in Neo-Latin and New Ancient Greek poetry.
