She works closely with the History Department Chair and faculty leadership to support academic and strategic planning, policy development, community building, and special initiatives. With the support of an incredible staff, her areas of oversight include general administration, faculty support, human resources, finance, academic and faculty affairs, graduate and undergraduate programs, IT, and physical resources. Michelle joined History in 2022 after 11 years with the Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology (MCB), where she was responsible for managing the faculty/lab support team and all faculty affairs activities for the department. Prior to joining Harvard, Michelle worked in development as an event planner at The Huntington Theatre Company and The Boston Conservatory.
