Paul Schmelzing is a PhD Candidate, and his research focuses on the History of the International Financial System, and Economic History. Specialities include FX and money markets, and Central Bank reserve policies since 1926. He is also working on bond market and interest rate trends.
He is a Visiting Scholar at the Bank of England, and also a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
