Yuan-Heng Mao received his BA and MA degrees in History from National Taiwan University. His Master thesis focuses on the Social History in the Middle Period China – particularly how the Song Dynasty’s financial time schedule influenced the Jiangzhe Area, the most prominent agriculture area at that time. Before coming to Harvard, he has worked as a project assistant promoting the usage of digital tools in Humanities. In EALC, he plans to explore the dynamic role that Government played from a long-term perspective and the possibility of utilizing new tools in History research.
