Mary D. Lewis wins American Council of Learned Societies Fellowship

Please join us in congratulating Professor Mary D. Lewis. She has been awarded a Frederick Burkhardt Residential Fellowship for Recently Tenured Scholars from the American Council of Learned Societies. For nearly ninety years, providing fellowships for scholars in the humanities and related social sciences has been one of the signal activities of ACLS.
The fellowship will be in residence at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Harvard Professors Collect Books for Children and Adults Programs in Ferguson, MO

The Warren Center is setting up drop-off locations around Harvard Yard for donations of books to Breakfast and Books program for children and a Freedom School for adults in Ferguson, MO in coordination with rapper Tef Poe and the Hands Up Project. They will also be accepting financial donations toward the purchase of appropriate books for donation. See the Warren Center website for details and drop-off locations.
