Boston Latin American History Workshop: “Spanish-Speaking Voters, Afrodiasporic Politics, and the Election of 1876"

We are thrilled to invite you to the second meeting of the Boston Latin American History Workshop. Please join us at Harvard University (Lower Library - Robinson Hall 125) on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

For this session, we will be workshopping a paper by Jesse Hoffnung-Garskof (Harvard University) entitled “Spanish-Speaking Voters, Afrodiasporic Politics, and the Election of 1876,” drawn from a project on Key West.
