Friday, November 18, 2016, 12:00pm

Boston University, 121 Bay State Rd., Boston, MA

with Nader Hashemi, Director of the Center for Middle East Studies and Associate Professor of Middle East Politics at the University of Denver School of International Studies

This lecture grapples with questions surrounding recent turmoil in the Arab-Islamic world. Do the “wars of religion” run their course, or is the problem of ISIS to do with the legacy of US intervention in Iraq in 2003? What are the implications for international security?

This event is co-sponsored with the International Relations and Religion (IRRN) Pizza and Politics group
