History Department: Digital Teaching Fellows Program Workshop

Date:

Thu - Fri, May 5 to May 6, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Location:

5/5 - Robinson Hall Basement Seminar Room | 5/6 - Robinson Hall Rm. 105

On Thursday, May 5, 2016, 9:00-5:00pm, the Digital Teaching Fellows Program will sponsor a workshop for faculty, visitors, and graduate students who are interested in exploring digital applications to teaching and research.

This workshop, led by this year’s Digital Teaching Fellows, will highlight digital platforms and modules that have proven to be especially helpful for interactive and collaborative learning. The following day, Friday, May 6, 10:00-4:30, a series of in-depth sessions focused on specific methodologies will take place for those interested in exploring digital tools in greater detail.

The workshops are aimed at current and prospective teaching fellows as well as faculty and visitors. Potential applications range from the teaching of large lecture courses and small undergraduate and graduate seminars to research and publication. Both workshops are free and include coffee and lunch, but we have limited capacity. You can pre-register for either (or both) days by filling this form.
