A comparative political scientist, Sumantra Bose is most recently the author of Kashmir at the Crossroads: Inside a 21st-Century Conflict (Yale, 2021) and Secular States, Religious Politics: India, Turkey, and the Future of Secularism (Cambridge, 2018). Professor Bose’s next book, India’s Modi Era: A Democracy in Eclipse will be published by Yale University Press in Spring 2025.
