In this seminar, Quentin Deluermoz will discuss the recently published translation of his book, The Paris Commune (Verso, 2026), and other "communes" worldwide. Drawing on history, anthropology, and the sociology of revolutions, Deluermoz traces the Paris Commune from its origins in 1871 to its enduring influence on social and political movements across Europe and beyond.
