Beatriz is a master's student in History at Federal University of Bahia and a Fellow Researcher in the History Department of Harvard University. Her research focuses on topics related to race, scientific racism, blacks and indigenous people and history of medicine from the work of the brazilian doctor João Baptista de Sá Oliveira in the 19th Century.
