Kaylynn Mele

Kaylynn joined Harvard in the fall of 2026, bringing over five years of experience in administrative and operational support within the technology and engineering industry. As a Faculty Assistant, she supports departmental operations and assists faculty with administrative coordination.

Kaylynn holds a B.A. in History from Syracuse University. Her historical interests include colonialism and imperialism throughout the Atlantic world, African American history, and LGBTQ+ history.

Outside of the office, Kaylynn enjoys traveling, roller coasters, spicy food, and spending time with her son, Grant, and her cat, Louie.
