Mahia Bashir

Mahia entered the History PhD program in 2022. She studies South Asia and its global entanglements in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries with broader interests in the Islamic world and the British Empire. Kashmir is what she calls home. She holds a BA from St Stephen's College, University of Delhi and an MSC in International History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
