Shae Omonijo

Shae O. Omonijo is a political theorist and intellectual historian exploring how freedom, sovereignty, and agency have been conceived, imagined, and contested across empires and communities. Her work in critical AI studies extends these questions to artificial intelligence, examining how emerging technologies reshape human agency and political life, and bridging the gap between AI and the humanities. Shae received her AB in Political Science with Honors and Minor in Human Rights from the University of Chicago.
