Victoria Soto Estremera entered the History Ph.D. program in Fall of 2024. Her work examines gender relationships, U.S. imperialism, and nation-building in twentieth-century Puerto Rico. Prior to coming to Harvard, she was a fellow in the Bridge to the Doctorate Program at the University of Virginia and a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow at the University of Puerto Rico.
