Ailish Lalor entered the History PhD programme in autumn 2023. She specialises in Modern Europe, and is particularly interested in the intersection of environmental and migration history in the Netherlands and Germany. Before coming to Harvard, she worked as a tutorial lecturer at Leiden University’s International Studies programme. Ailish graduated with a ResMA in History: Cities, Migration and Global Interdependence from Leiden University in 2022, and a BA from Leiden University College in 2019.
