HLS: "Public Vows" Student-Faculty lunch with Nancy Cott

On November 15 at noon, Professor Nancy F. Cott will host a student-faculty lunch. Professor Cott is the Jonathan Trumbull Professor of American History at Harvard. Her scholarship includes Public Vows, which explores the history of marriage as a public institution in the U.S. She subsequently participated in writing several historians' amici briefs on same-sex marriage and on abortion restrictions.
