Prof. Sarkar presents on her current project, a global history of nuclear infrastructures through histories of racial capitalism, empire, and decolonisation from the 1890s to the 1990s. She studies the role of governments, corporations, and banks in land dispossession, labor exploitation, and debt generation through nuclear technologies.
