Macchia as Memory Function: Thought Processes in Renaissance Sketches

With the generous support of the Harvard University History of Art and Architecture department, the Graduate Student Lecture Series Committee is excited to announce that on December 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sackler Auditorium, Professor Nicola Suthor will present her newest project, 'Macchia as Memory Function: Thought Processes in Renaissance Sketches.'

This is the first event in this year's New Directions in Art History: Lectures in the Department of the History of Art and Architecture. The purpose of this lecture series is to bring important new scholarship to the attention of the HAA community and give graduate students a chance to engage with innovative scholars in formal and informal conversations on campus. This lecture is also open to the Harvard community, so please spread the word.
